Mysterious Vibes explores Los Angeles from a distance, where the familiar begins to feel unfamiliar.

Photographed from the hills and mountains surrounding the city, the series places skylines, infrastructure, and other traces of human presence beneath immense skies and shifting atmospheric conditions. From this perspective, a city normally experienced as overwhelming becomes small and fragile within the larger landscape.

The photographs move between observation and abstraction. Weather, distance, and visual distortions obscure the descriptive image, allowing recognizable places to become uncertain, dreamlike, and slightly unreal.

Rather than document Los Angeles through its familiar icons and mythology, Mysterious Vibes steps away from the city and considers what remains when those associations begin to disappear—a landscape suspended somewhere between place and memory.
