Nathan Quinton Sebakijje is a Los Angeles-based visual artist working primarily with 35mm film photography. His work explores place, atmosphere, memory, and human presence through quiet observations of the environments we inhabit.

Drawing on the landscapes and built environments of Southern California, Nathan approaches photography as a form of visual storytelling, often using scale, negative space, weather, and ambiguity to create images that exist somewhere between observation and memory. Rather than describing a place literally, his photographs seek to evoke the psychological experience of being there—allowing familiar landscapes to become contemplative, mysterious, and occasionally surreal.

Nathan holds a B.S. in Graphic Design and brings a strong sensitivity to composition, form, and visual structure to his photographic practice. He also supervises a fine-art print studio and gallery in Culver City, where his close involvement with photographic printing has shaped his understanding of the photograph as a physical object. His work is conceived not only as an image on a screen, but ultimately as a print.

Based in Los Angeles, Nathan continues to develop long-form photographic projects examining California’s coastline, cities, landscapes, and the traces of human presence within them.
