Here are a couple final photos from my shoot last week with Victoria for Collective Thoughts. We were definitely both in our "zone" as we wrapped up these last shots. All in all, another cool shoot for the books. Enjoy! :)

California is known for its beaches, sunshine and palm trees. We thought it would be pretty cool to capture the essence of this in a couple shots for Collective Thoughts. Originally from Chicago, Victoria mentioned not missing shoveling snow from her driveway back home.

I love doing fitness shoots because they are soo much fun! Victoria has been working with Collective Thoughts for a while and needed to do a new shoot to promote the brand. I headed down to the LBC to link up with her for a quick one look shoot. It was a beautiful day and beyond posing, I took a lot of great shots of her actually exercising. Funny thing is, I actually got a pretty good work-out too as I chased her running and jumping on the row of benches you see in these shots!

After getting warmed up shooting the first 2 looks, we decided to heat things up a bit for the final part of our shoot. The thing I love most about working with Cheryl is her versatility. As a model, she can run the gamut from girl-next-door to FIERCE! The problem with the older generation Sony cameras was their overheating issues. So, in very scientific fashion, we tried our best to get the new camera to overheat. Needless to say, it kept its cool...Enjoy! ;)

For part 2 of the shoot with Cheryl, we switched up outfits to see how the Sony A7III would handle different colors. While Canon cameras are known for their awesome color science, Sony cameras are pretty darn close to Canon. In addition, it was amazing how many in-focus shots I got with the Sony as Cheryl moved around. Usually, if a model is moving too quickly, I would get slightly soft focus shots with my Canon, but not with the Sony. Everything was spot on and this camera is passing all my tests with flying colors. Stay tuned for part 3...Enjoy!
