I was recently looking at photos from some of my previous shoots and came across this image. This is a perfect example of how working with a strong team makes all the difference. This shoot was insane because we had to get through like 50+ looks in one day! Julia did an amazing job of styling the shoot down to every last detail and kept things organized and moving. Giovanna kept our model's hair and make-up looking extra fly throughout the day. And lastly, our model Andie used her dance background to gracefully power through a marathon of a project. While I wouldn't recommend it, if you were to attempt a catalog shoot this intense, make sure the #squad is solid!
I was hired by a fashion client doing research on LA street style. For their reference, they wanted me to roam downtown and find girls with flavor to photograph. They gave me some free product to offer the girls in exchange for a minute of their time. This girl was perfect and was up for a quick impromptu street portrait. As luck would have it, she turned out to be a professional model! Thanks again, Savvy Taylor!
When I used to make beats, I always loved the opportunity to remix another artist's song. Getting to collaborate with other creative spirits was always a rewarding experience. So when Ike issued an editing challenge from his latest shoot with Dashalynne, I couldn't resist the chance to flip this shot. It came out pretty dope and he ended up featuring my edit on his latest video.
